Are Mormons Christians?

 NON-ISSUE
Back to Full Blog

I have come to the conclusion that the appearance of so much heat concerning reasons to exclude Mormons as Christians is overstated and the work of a very small group within the Stream. Even then they are reluctant to speak openly about their reasons. Where there is obviously little significance or interest I will no longer post.

The issue may be mute and strongly influenced by America's embrace of Romney as a strong Presidential candidate. Aloha. To the black sand beaches.

Curious, would you vote for Romney?

I know many evangelicals who are seriously considering support him.

BTW, I am still in the category of 'undecided' in any of the races.

Isn't it scary how Hiliary keeps hanging around in the polls - I thought she would a third ranked runner by now......

I am thinking of changing my reg to D so I can vote against her in the primary

Yuo know, something that might be just as effective and allow you to participate as a R, tell a half dozen die hard Hillary fans that you heard online that she was secretly baptised into the Mormon Church and will send Darling Bill packing as she moves into the White House.

Romney's LDS faith will not have any more of a particular application to his duties as Pres than Catholicism was for JFK. It would seem from the polls 80% of the nation says it is not a stopper. That number will increase as people get a handle on their bias whether he falls out of the running or not.

The real question is, Will the "mainstream" Christian leadership of this nation continue to sit on their hands and ALLOW Hillary and BILL in the White House? Would seem so, as we see Bloomberg defect and no champion annointed. Comical to me that a Mormon candidate seems to be st the forefront as they become less relevant politically with each passing day...

It mirrors the immigration issue....somehow it can be rationalized doing nothing about those integrated millions is better than anything.
Both of us support amnesty. It is the Christian thing to do. Time makes a great case for it in an article my husband and I evaluated.

I heard that the Clintons see this as their way around the 22nd amendment that limits a president to 2 terms - looks like they are on the path to make it happen - at least until Nov. 5. 2008.

Well, to be perfectly honest, she's getting there on her own merits. But the Dems have repeatedly failed with politicians from the NE.
